Does Leopards Courier Do International Shipping?

Yes. Leopards Courier (LCS) offers international shipping to 220+ countries via its partnership with FedEx. When you book an international shipment through LCS, it is transported within Pakistan by Leopards Courier and then handed over to FedEx at the international hub in Karachi for overseas transit.

The same CN number can be used to track on both the LCS system (for the Pakistan leg) and FedEx (for the international leg). For domestic Pakistan parcels, use the standard LCS tracking tool. See the tracking number guide to understand all CN prefixes.

IN-Prefix CNs — International Inbound

IN-prefix CNs are assigned to international inbound shipments — parcels arriving in Pakistan from abroad. After landing at a Pakistan airport and clearing Customs, these parcels are handed to Leopards Courier for domestic last-mile delivery.

Customs Clearance First

All inbound international parcels must clear Pakistan Customs before LCS can deliver. Customs inspection typically takes 2–5 business days. LCS tracking will show "Held at Customs" during this period.

Duties & Taxes

Recipient is responsible for import duties and taxes assessed by Pakistan Customs. LCS will contact the recipient before delivery if payment is required. COD-style duty collection available in some cases.

Tracking After Clearance

Once cleared, the IN-prefix CN activates in the LCS system and standard domestic tracking applies. Enter the IN-prefix CN on the tracker above for status after customs.

Delivery Timeline

After customs clearance, domestic delivery takes 1–3 business days to major cities and 3–7 days for remote areas. Track using the LCS tracker for live updates.

Pakistan Customs Clearance

Inbound international parcels (IN-prefix) entering Pakistan must clear Pakistan Customs at the arrival airport. This is the most common cause of delays for inbound shipments.

Standard Clearance

2–5 business days

Most personal parcels under PKR 50,000 declared value clear within 2–5 days.

High-Value Goods

5–10 business days

Electronics, jewellery, and commercial goods above PKR 50,000 require additional documentation.

Commercial Shipments

7–15 business days

Bulk commercial imports need import permits, Form-I, and bank authorization. Use a licensed clearing agent.

Prohibited Items

Returned/seized

Certain items (alcohol, specific electronics, religious materials) are prohibited or restricted for import.

Personal Gifts

1–3 business days

Personal gifts under PKR 30,000 with correct declaration usually clear quickly.

Documents Only

1–2 business days

Letters and documents under 2 kg typically clear with minimal inspection.

Tip: Always ensure the sender declares the correct contents and value on the customs declaration. Under-declaration can lead to seizure. Pakistan Customs Tariff details at fbr.gov.pk.

Many electronics can be shipped but restrictions apply. Lithium batteries must comply with IATA dangerous goods rules. New commercial electronics may require a Pakistan export permit. Destination import restrictions also apply. Undeclared or non-compliant items may be seized. Confirm with LCS before booking. For general shipping guidance, see the tracking guide.
For outbound shipments, the recipient in the destination country pays duties assessed by their local customs authority. For inbound parcels entering Pakistan, the Pakistani recipient pays duties assessed by Pakistan Customs (FBR). LCS contacts you before delivery if duty payment is required. Check LCS status codes — "Held at Customs" means your parcel is pending clearance.
Prohibited items include cash, live animals, perishables without approval, weapons, narcotics, counterfeit goods, pornographic materials, and hazardous materials non-compliant with IATA rules. Alcohol is prohibited to/from many Muslim-majority countries. For complaints about prohibited item seizures, use the LCS complaint portal.
The IN prefix indicates an international inbound shipment arriving in Pakistan from abroad. These parcels originate overseas, arrive via FedEx, clear Pakistan Customs at the arrival airport, and are then handed to LCS for domestic last-mile delivery. Tracking activates in the LCS system after customs clearance. Full CN format details at tracking number guide.
File a claim through the LCS complaint portal and also file a parallel claim with FedEx since they handle the overseas leg. Retain your CN number, booking receipt, declared value invoice, and photos of any damage. Claims must be filed within 7 days of the expected delivery date. For general support, visit the LCS contact page.
LCS partners with FedEx for international shipping, offering 220+ country coverage and competitive Express rates. TCS has its own international network and DHL connections, often stronger for document shipping to certain Gulf destinations. Compare per-route rates and transit times before choosing. See LCS vs TCS comparison and best courier Pakistan for a full breakdown.
Yes. LCS/FedEx international shipments are fully door-to-door. LCS picks up from your Pakistan address and FedEx delivers to the recipient overseas. For inbound shipments, FedEx or a partner collects internationally and LCS delivers within Pakistan after customs clearance. Remote destination surcharges may apply. Track both legs using the LCS tracking tool.
Dimensional weight formula: Length × Width × Height (cm) ÷ 5000 = dimensional weight in kg. You are charged at whichever is higher — actual weight or dimensional weight. For example, a 40×30×20 cm box has a dimensional weight of 4.8 kg regardless of actual weight. Always measure accurately before getting a quote. Use the cost calculator for domestic dimensional weight estimates.
Yes. LCS offers declared value coverage for international shipments, and FedEx provides additional declared value insurance for the overseas leg. Declare the accurate value at booking and retain proof of value such as purchase receipts. For high-value items like jewellery or electronics, purchase maximum available coverage. In case of loss, use the complaint portal and contact LCS support.
Yes. Leopards Courier offers a Document Only (DO) service for international document shipments under 2 kg. Documents attract lower rates and faster customs clearance than parcels. Documents must contain no commercial value and no currency. A FE-prefix CN is issued for outbound documents. Delivery to most destinations within 3–5 business days. See CN format guide to understand DO and other service prefixes.
No. Leopards Courier does not offer Cash on Delivery for international shipments. COD is available for domestic Pakistan deliveries only. For international e-commerce, collect payment from the buyer before booking with LCS. Inbound duty-on-delivery for parcels entering Pakistan is a separate customs process, not a COD service. For domestic COD questions, visit LCS contact.
Required documents: completed LCS booking form with accurate sender and recipient details, commercial invoice (three copies) showing item description, quantity, and declared USD value, and a packing list. Certain commodities require an export permit or NOC. Commercial exporters may need an NTN number and bank export authorization for high-value shipments. Documents-only shipments require a cover letter. Contact LCS support to confirm requirements for your specific commodity.
For inbound parcels entering Pakistan, customs clearance typically takes 2–5 business days for personal shipments under PKR 50,000 declared value, 5–10 days for high-value goods and electronics, and 7–15 days for commercial imports. Incomplete declarations cause the most delays. Watch for the "Held at Customs" status in the LCS tracker — see all status codes explained.
The LCS system updates tracking at each Pakistan-leg scan point, typically every few hours on business days. Once handed to FedEx, tracking updates appear on fedex.com in near real-time at each FedEx facility worldwide. Gaps of 6–12 hours between scans during international transit are normal. If tracking shows no update for over 48 hours after the last scan, raise a case via the complaint portal or contact LCS.
